About the role
- Design and verify electrical circuits within the Robotic Assisted Surgery Platform
- Design models and execute simulations
- Analyze results
- Design and test custom electrical assemblies and cable assemblies
- Design and develop test firmware for custom PCBAs
- Debug components and complex systems
- Develop, document, and execute test procedures and protocols
- Apply knowledge of personal computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems and device drivers
- Assemble bills of materials, interface with key suppliers
- Participate in generating electronics specifications from system and subsystem requirements
- Participate in the development of product build procedures
- Participate in design reviews
- Participate in developing requirements and perform hardware / software integration
- Participate in DFMECA and component derating studies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0 Years of experience
- Master’s Degree (Nice to Have)
- Previous experience with robotics
- Knowledge of firmware / embedded software development is desirable
- Programming Languages: Python, C, Bash
- Experience with Linux and Windows
- Develops electrical and electronic schematics with electronic software packages
