About the role

  • Design and verify electrical circuits within the Robotic Assisted Surgery Platform
  • Design models and execute simulations
  • Analyze results
  • Design and test custom electrical assemblies and cable assemblies
  • Design and develop test firmware for custom PCBAs
  • Debug components and complex systems
  • Develop, document, and execute test procedures and protocols
  • Apply knowledge of personal computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems and device drivers
  • Assemble bills of materials, interface with key suppliers
  • Participate in generating electronics specifications from system and subsystem requirements
  • Participate in the development of product build procedures
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Participate in developing requirements and perform hardware / software integration
  • Participate in DFMECA and component derating studies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 0 Years of experience
  • Master’s Degree (Nice to Have)
  • Previous experience with robotics
  • Knowledge of firmware / embedded software development is desirable
  • Programming Languages: Python, C, Bash
  • Experience with Linux and Windows
  • Develops electrical and electronic schematics with electronic software packages
  • Ability to work in teams – we are looking for a team player!
