About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a key engineering partner to the Global Facilities Team
  • Act as the primary liaison between Operations, Project Management, and Construction teams
  • Help translate business and operational needs into effective engineering solutions
  • Lead and coordinate the work of Facilities teams, experienced technical professionals, and specialized vendors
  • Provide technical oversight and direction throughout the lifecycle of projects and operational initiatives
  • Focus on supporting Mechanical and Plumbing systems across global facilities
  • Drive projects and initiatives that strengthen facility infrastructure, improve operational reliability, and enhance energy performance
  • Ensure that systems are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of Facility Mechanical infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Automation Systems experience OR Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience OR PhD and 3+ years of experience
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Mechanical system knowledge (HVAC, electrical, building automation, plumbing systems)
  • Experience supporting design/build of clean rooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
  • Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control
  • Experience with automation protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and LonWorks
  • Tridium/Niagara BAS Certification
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
