About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and govern the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including Portfolio, Demand, Supply, Financial, and Management Business Reviews, ensuring alignment across the Operating Unit.
- Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, and Product Lifecycle teams to develop and maintain a single, integrated business plan that supports strategic and operational objectives.
- Analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, develop scenario plans, and provide data-driven recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning forums to align priorities, resolve constraints, manage competing business needs, and drive timely decision-making.
- Translate long-range strategy, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and quarterly business commitments into actionable execution plans with measurable outcomes.
- Communicate planning assumptions, business implications, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership, enabling informed decisions and organizational alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement of the IBP process by implementing best practices, standardizing planning methodologies, leveraging analytics, and enhancing planning capabilities.
- Influence and align cross-functional teams without direct authority, fostering accountability, collaboration, and execution across a highly matrixed organization.
- Lead through ambiguity by solving complex business challenges, managing interdependencies across demand, supply, portfolio, and financial planning, and balancing competing priorities to optimize business performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline with minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, OR Advance degree in technical discipline with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), or enterprise supply chain planning
- Broad business and operational planning experience within complex, global organizations
- Experience in medical device, orthopedics, aerospace, automotive, electronics, consumer products, or other highly regulated industries
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment
- Strong facilitation, analytical, executive communication, and presentation skills.
