Sales Representative – Advanced Energy
MedtronicSales Representative in Advanced Energy driving revenue and managing customer relationships at Medtronic. Responsible for strategic sales within the Eastern Germany region.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve sales and profit targets in the assigned sales territory and defined product area
- Develop strategic, goal-oriented project plans with mid- and short-term perspectives
- Identify and build relationships with all key decision-makers and opinion leaders, including sub-specialists — particularly heads of department in neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery, breast and liver surgery, cardiology, cardiac surgery, and plastic surgery — as well as C-suite interfaces with Marketing, Therapy Sales Specialists, Sales Representatives, GPO Managers and Integrated Health Solutions (IHS)
- Negotiate contracts and terms and close sales
- Manage all account sales processes and activities for prioritized accounts (A, B, C)
- Identify and develop account potential
- Responsible for sales forecasting
- Document sales activities in the CRM tool Salesforce Lightning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Preferably a completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in business administration, medical, or medical-technology-related field
- Several years of sales experience, ideally in medical technology sales
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen, with a very good understanding of customers' business
- Experience with hospital financing and procurement processes
- Willingness to acquire broad product knowledge and therapy expertise in the defined product area
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Valid driving licence (Class B)
