About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a key engineering partner to the Global Facilities Team
Act as the primary liaison between Operations, Project Management, and Construction teams
Ensure facility projects and infrastructure initiatives are delivered successfully
Translate business and operational needs into effective engineering solutions
Lead and coordinate the work of Facilities teams, experienced technical professionals, and specialized vendors
Provide technical oversight and direction throughout the lifecycle of projects and operational initiatives
Support Mechanical and Plumbing systems across global facilities
Drive initiatives that strengthen facility infrastructure, improve operational reliability, and enhance energy performance
Ensure systems are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate resources and ensure project completion

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of Facility Mechanical infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Automation Systems experience OR Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience OR PhD and 3+ years of experience
Fluent in English and Spanish
Mechanical system knowledge (HVAC, electrical, building automation, plumbing systems)
Experience supporting design/build of clean rooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants
Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control
Experience with automation protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and LonWorks
Tridium/Niagara BAS Certification
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
