About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a key engineering partner to the Global Facilities Team
- Act as the primary liaison between Operations, Project Management, and Construction teams
- Ensure facility projects and infrastructure initiatives are delivered successfully
- Translate business and operational needs into effective engineering solutions
- Lead and coordinate the work of Facilities teams, experienced technical professionals, and specialized vendors
- Provide technical oversight and direction throughout the lifecycle of projects and operational initiatives
- Support Mechanical and Plumbing systems across global facilities
- Drive initiatives that strengthen facility infrastructure, improve operational reliability, and enhance energy performance
- Ensure systems are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate resources and ensure project completion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of Facility Mechanical infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Automation Systems experience OR Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience OR PhD and 3+ years of experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Mechanical system knowledge (HVAC, electrical, building automation, plumbing systems)
- Experience supporting design/build of clean rooms, chiller plants, compressed air plants
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
- Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control
- Experience with automation protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and LonWorks
- Tridium/Niagara BAS Certification
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
