About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads the development of Medtronic Spine Biologics market requirements for allografts, Growth factors/BMP, synthetics, cellular bone matrix and demineralized bone matrix
- Focuses effort and drives team around biologic technology, procedural integration, proliferation brands
- Leads and coordinates spine biologics product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market research activities
- Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities
- In market biologics expertise and training program creation to simplify biologics for field teams
- Works individually and with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion
- Review acquisition opportunities in the fusion and biologic space
- Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to market place
- Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships
- Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future e-commerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field
- 15+ years combined or advanced degree with 13+ years relevant experience in two or more of the following functions: marketing, market development, sales, field training or other relevant areas
- Strong people leadership, collaboration, communication, presentation and execution skills focused on team, patients and business success
- Strong understanding of spine and biologics therapies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and financial analysis skills
- Experience with project management/project leadership, excellent planning and organizational skills coupled with demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently
- Experience in multicultural organizations
- Proven track record of ability to navigate and collaborate within a global matrix organization
- Excellent spoken and written English is required
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
