About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead category strategy development and execution, including best-cost-country sourcing
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Develop and execute a robust cost-reduction pipeline
- Analyze markets, quotations, and supplier capabilities
- Leverage data, metrics, and business intelligence to optimize sourcing decisions
- Serve as a strategic advocate for the Supply Management function
- Define and manage winning category strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Electronics & Electronic Assemblies and Suppliers
- Proven expertise in developing and executing effective negotiation strategies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Solid technical and commercial understanding of commodity markets
- Demonstrated experience developing category strategies and leading Best-Cost-Country sourcing initiatives
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Experience supporting low-volume, high-mix product environments
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (including Excel), analytics platforms, and SAP preferred
