About the role

  • You will advise and support medical staff in operating the Affera navigation system during electrophysiological procedures across Germany.
  • You will support customers in the catheterization lab with our full product portfolio — acting as our therapy champion for this technology with international exchange.
  • You will support the establishment of innovation centers and serve as a clinical and technical expert for physicians, clinical staff and the team.
  • Plan and perform software and hardware installations in the region in close coordination with our technical department and the wider team.
  • Support the organization and delivery of training and continuing education events.
  • Support Market Development activities, e.g., creating short presentations or other visual materials.
  • Participate in regular territory reviews within the account team together with the Sales Manager.
  • Collaborate across business units with all Medtronic divisions.
  • Plan and carry out support activities with our navigation system in coordination with our customers.
  • Conduct on-site training and consulting and support the development and maintenance of customer relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Update and document activities in our CRM tool (e.g., SFDC Lightning).
  • Regular participation in congresses, symposia and workshops complements your responsibilities.
  • Willingness to assist in the preparation of presentations, videos or other visual materials.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or a natural sciences discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc. or equivalent).
  • Alternatively, a completed technical vocational training in the medical field or equivalent in-depth cardiology experience or comparable qualification.
  • At least 2 years of independent performance of 3D mapping procedures and at least 3 years of clinical electrophysiology (EP) experience.
  • Completed and active NASPE / IBHRE certification can be an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills, excellent technical understanding and the ability to explain clinical contexts at a high level.
  • Outgoing personality and flexibility.
  • Unrestricted ability to work in a team and willingness to travel are required.
  • Proficiency with standard PC tools is essential.
  • Independent, responsible thinking and acting, as well as a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Enthusiasm and persuasive communication skills.
  • Friendly and open demeanor with a high level of service orientation and commitment.
  • Driving license category B.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
