About the role

  • Drive recruitment efforts for our Medical Surgical business across the U.S.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, competencies, and salary recommendations while negotiating offers with candidates.
  • Evaluate candidates’ qualifications, including education, experience, skills, knowledge and motivational fit, to ensure the best match for each role.
  • Source top talent through various channels, including social media, career fairs, and contractor networks, to maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct candidate screens and interviews to identify exceptional talent.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and generate/use reports and metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Provide outstanding candidate care throughout the recruitment process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement creative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current experience recruiting at Medtronic, preferably within the Medical Surgical portfolio.
  • Previous experience recruiting for Robotics commercial and non-commercial roles with an expertise sourcing Engineering talent.
  • Demonstrated ability consistently serving as a strategic talent advisor, with previous experience providing actionable insights and recommendations to hiring managers to enhance the hiring process.
  • Proven ability to stay highly organized and prioritize effectively while managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless coordination and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of employment regulations, including EEO, AAP, and OFCCP compliance.
  • Proficiency with a variety of talent acquisition systems such as Workday Recruit and LinkedIn.
  • HR/TA certifications.
  • Expertise in inclusive sourcing practices using a variety of recruitment channels.
