About the role
- Support the education and training of the company's products to Health Care Professionals and patients
- Serve as the face of the company and a field clinical diabetes expert
- Collaborate with sales counterpart to develop and implement territory growth strategy
- Troubleshoot clinical and technical issues regarding Medtronic products and therapy
- Assist HCPs in assessing and managing patient’s Medtronic therapy to help ensure positive outcomes
- Consult and present to individuals and groups on behalf of Medtronic Diabetes
- Plan, organize, and manage assignments within allotted budget
- Travel in assigned territory on a regular basis and attend seminars, symposiums, and special events as directed
- Collaborate with other Medtronic Diabetes departments to ensure optimal patient experience
- Participate in ongoing competency development through various training mediums
Requirements
- A valid registered license in one or more of the following fields: Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Dietitian (RD), Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Pharmacist
- Associate’s Degree and 4 years of clinical experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of clinical experience
- Bilingual in Spanish (Nice to Have)
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred (Nice to Have)
- Prior sales experience (Nice to Have)
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
