About the role

  • Support the education and training of the company's products to Health Care Professionals and patients
  • Serve as the face of the company and a field clinical diabetes expert
  • Collaborate with sales counterpart to develop and implement territory growth strategy
  • Troubleshoot clinical and technical issues regarding Medtronic products and therapy
  • Assist HCPs in assessing and managing patient’s Medtronic therapy to help ensure positive outcomes
  • Consult and present to individuals and groups on behalf of Medtronic Diabetes
  • Plan, organize, and manage assignments within allotted budget
  • Travel in assigned territory on a regular basis and attend seminars, symposiums, and special events as directed
  • Collaborate with other Medtronic Diabetes departments to ensure optimal patient experience
  • Participate in ongoing competency development through various training mediums

Requirements

  • A valid registered license in one or more of the following fields: Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Dietitian (RD), Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Pharmacist
  • Associate’s Degree and 4 years of clinical experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of clinical experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish (Nice to Have)
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Prior sales experience (Nice to Have)
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
