About the role
- Lead end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions, with a focus on using standard “Clean Core” Business Processes.
- Lead SI partners to develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage and mentor SAP project team members, including internal staff and external consultants.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and SI vendors.
- Ensure SAP solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with company policies and industry best practices.
- Oversee change management, training, and communication efforts to drive user adoption.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and present updates to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelors degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience and 7+ years of managerial experience.
- Master’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in SAP implementation, with at least 2 years in a lead or project management role.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM) and business processes.
- Experience with project management methodologies specifically including Activate methodology (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of delivering SAP projects on time and within budget.
- SAP certification(s) preferred.
