About the role

  • Execute global distribution strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Identify optimal locations for distribution centers based on market demand, cost efficiency, and service level requirements
  • Support system implementations for order fulfilment, tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting shipments and receipts
  • Implement best practices for inventory control, freight bill processing, and documentation accuracy
  • Engineer flows, working with cross functional teams and 3PLs for optimum layouts and establishing processes for receipt of incoming materials, storage of products, quality and regulatory compliances
  • Report materials shipped, prepare bills of lading, and ensure accurate posting of weight and shipping charges
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and external partners
  • Manage budgets for distribution setup projects and drive cost optimization initiatives
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to global distribution, including geopolitical and supply chain disruptions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field and 10+ years of experience in global logistics, distribution network design, and operations leadership OR Advanced Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field and 10+ years of experience in global logistics, distribution network design, and operations leadership
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Proven track record of setting up and managing large-scale distribution centers internationally
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain technologies, WMS/TMS systems, and automation solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment.
