About the role
- Lead employee benefit accounting operations for Diabetes International, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage employee benefit-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll data integrity and timely processing
- Support the implementation and optimization of employee benefit accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA for TSA (Transition Service Agreement) exit with Medtronic.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal policies across multiple geographies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and control in payroll accounting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in payroll accounting or related roles within a multinational organization
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory requirements
- Experience with SAP (S/4HANA) and payroll systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead projects and drive process improvements
- Experience managing culturally diverse teams and familiarity with shared services environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of international payroll compliance and integration with HR systems will help you excel in this role, but are not required.
