About the role
- Responsible for all aspects of equipment support performed at customer sites or before delivery
- Ensure that support is completed in compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures
- Lead and execute installations and commissioning of new equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance as per service manual checklist
- Perform appropriate testing to confirm system functionality according to the manufacturer's specifications
- Attend breakdown calls and perform repairs and troubleshooting independently
- Provide testing and validation support and data to the Global Service organization
- Assist in technical support for users of complex systems
- Collaborate with other field service engineers to troubleshoot difficult service activities
- Travel to sites to work as a member of the local team to provide efficient repair/installation support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with Medical Devices in Medical Institutions
- Good knowledge of troubleshooting methods/skills and capital equipment control
- Healthcare/surgical setting experience is required
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Available to travel (around 50% of the time) domestically and internationally and work outside of core office hours
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Valid driver license
