Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary Employee Relations contact for Manufacturing & Commercial employees based in Canada and support client groups in the United States
- Provide advice and coaching to leaders, managers, and employees on employee relations matters
- Manage employee complaints and concerns, determine next steps, and ensure resolution in accordance with company policy and applicable legislation
- Counsel employees and management on performance management, discipline, restructuring, legal issues, investigations, conflict management, crisis management, and labor relations
- Develop and lead proactive employee and labor relations strategies using data to address opportunities and minimize risk
- Lead restructuring initiatives resulting in employee transitions
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence on escalated HR matters
- Document cases in ServiceNow and escalate to the ER/HR Director as required
- Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations and strategies
- Lead or support ER/HR projects and change initiatives across Operations, Commercial, and Americas Employee Relations teams
- Report complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 7 years of relevant HR experience OR advanced degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience
- Bilingual French and English — REQUIRED
- Demonstrated knowledge of Provincial Labour Legislation
- Proven experience managing labour-related matters before Provincial Labour Boards
- Experience developing and deploying strategies and recommendations to Senior Leadership
- Experience partnering, influencing and/or coaching Senior Leadership
- Project management and process mapping capabilities
- Effective communication, coaching, influencing, and presentation skills
- Certified HR designation preferred
- Certified project management and process mapping capabilities preferred
- Certification in coaching or conflict resolution preferred
