About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, document, and configure system specifications conforming to architecture standards and business requirements
  • Plan system and development deployments
  • Ensure hardware and software compliance and security standards
  • Evaluate hardware/software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics
  • Establish and document system designs, parameters, and formats
  • Ensure hardware and software functionality, performance, and compatibility
  • Coordinate or modify system parameters based on computer capacity and capabilities
  • Identify system functionality or performance deficiencies
  • Execute system changes and test functionality to correct deficiencies
  • Maintain effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage
  • Document testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations
  • Liaise with technology vendor technologists and other business functions
  • Design technology solutions meeting company and customer/user needs
  • Assess standard platform functionality versus customization requirements
  • Gather and prioritize integration requirements
  • Test product quality and ability to perform tasks or solve problems
  • Provide onsite technical support and maintain infrastructure
  • Coordinate with vendors and collaborate across various environments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to travel up to 30%
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Willing to support after-hours, weekends and participate in on-call rotations when critical support is needed
  • Strong customer-support mindset
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven, repeatable troubleshooting routines balancing speed, safety, and documentation
  • Solid grasp of infrastructure dependencies and system interconnections
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
  • Experience in OS installations, basic configurations, and remote management tasks
  • Commitment to continuous learning through formal training and self-directed education
  • Ability to develop trusted partnerships with end users and translate requirements into practical technology solutions
  • Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Hands-on knowledge management experience, including creating/updating KBs, playbooks, and runbooks
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+ listed as preferred qualifications
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment for roles below Principal level
