About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct interface testing within the system and during commercial support
Integrate the system into Electrophysiology catheterization laboratory hospital environments
Participate on cross-functional development teams
Create integration, characterization, and troubleshooting testing, training, and guidance documents
Develop expertise in applying systems engineering principles
Identify opportunities to apply systems engineering within assigned work
Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training and education with technical questions
Propose and implement changes to improve systems and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, OR Master's with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR PhD with 3 years of relevant experience
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
Advanced understanding of Electrophysiology and comfort in the hospital environment
Experience in Systems Engineering, including defining systems architecture within medical device product development
Experience with the application of Design Controls for medical devices
Demonstrated ability to create strategies and influence cross-functionally
Must meet physical requirements, including being independently mobile, interacting with a computer, and communicating with peers and co-workers
Principal-level role; U.S. work authorization sponsorship may be offered in accordance with Medtronic policy
