About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide detailed technical support for Superficial Venous Interventions (SVI) products and procedures
- Support sales representatives with customer product training and coverage for critical cases
- Train physicians, nurses, technicians, surgeons, interventional radiologists and other audiences on Closure System and VenaSeal products
- Provide training on superficial venous ultrasound, Closure System, Closure Fast, RFS, RFG2, VenaSeal and supporting supplies
- Conduct ultrasound in-services, product in-services, mock cases, case coverage and field employee training
- Provide case support to drive business
- Train and educate customers on products and associated procedures
- Work with physicians and lab/office staff in case selection
- Investigate and resolve site customer complaints; develop solutions, prepare reports and make recommendations to management
- Support territory sales strategy through sales partnership, in-servicing, market development, inventory support, purchase-order collection and technical case support
- Provide flexible technical case coverage
- Educate and support CVG sales and clinical counterparts on peripheral products and share best practices
- Participate in company-sponsored training and educational offerings
- Build and maintain technical knowledge and skills
- Provide Research and Development staff feedback on product performance issues and possible improvements
- Develop site-specific sales strategies with the Sales team for venous vascular products in established U.S. accounts
- Assist in developing tools and tactics to improve sales strategy effectiveness
- Support call points at hospitals, surgery centers and physician offices
- Keep manager informed of work-schedule and workload changes
- Adhere to financial, regulatory and quality compliance standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school degree and 8+ years experience OR Associate’s degree and 6+ years experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years experience
- Ultrasound and/or Venous experience
- Experience as a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)
- Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures and the medical device industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Computer PC literate
- Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong project management skills and experience coordinating programs
- Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Ability to travel domestically over 50% by automobile, plane or other transportation
- Ability to lift/carry 20 pounds
- Ability to sit/stand/walk 6–8 hours a day
- Ability to operate a moving vehicle
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in hospitals, surgical centers and physician offices
- Ability to travel by car or plane, minimum 80% of the time
- Ability to conduct company business outside typical Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
