About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary architect of our commercial pricing strategy, creating deal pricing models across all Ventra Health business units.
  • Perform sophisticated financial modeling and influence executive-level decision making.
  • Partner directly with Ventra’s sales organization, client success, business unit presidents, and financial leaders.
  • Design, build and maintain complex pricing models for a private-equity sponsored, healthcare B2B revenue cycle management organization.
  • Conduct what-if scenario analysis to predict the impact of pricing changes and customer variables on revenue and margin.
  • Maintain and improve upon Excel-based models, while evaluating opportunities to improve scale and automation through the deployment of enhanced tools.
  • Act as strategic partner to business unit presidents and the sales organization, providing the data-backed ‘why’ behind pricing recommendations and scenario analysis.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively rigorous field is required; examples include mathematics, engineering, finance, economics, or similar.
  • 7+ years in strategic pricing, commercial finance, or management consulting; experience in healthcare RCM services or a B2B service-based environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and improving sophisticated financial models, with preference given to pricing experience and healthcare pricing (Anesthesia, Radiology, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in a quantitatively rigorous environment, with direct evidence of ability to operate at a very fast pace.
