Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic legal advice to stakeholders and executive leadership
Draft, review, and negotiate a large volume of contracts
Identify and address legal and commercial risks in contracts
Successfully manage and resolve contract disputes and litigation matters
Mentor and provide guidance to other legal department members

Requirements

What you’ll need

College degree and juris doctorate from accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in good standing
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience including experience with a multinational company and in healthcare or a healthcare-adjacent industry
Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of key legal concepts and negotiation tactics
Strong experience with contract management software and other technology tools
Thorough understanding of HIPAA, privacy law and information security considerations as they relate to contracting
