About the role

  • Provide day-to-day leadership of AI and automation strategy, planning, and execution
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CTO and ELT
  • Establish a clear AI roadmap and execution cadence
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing cross-functional AI organization
  • Oversee and enhance communication of all AI and automation reporting
  • Own the design and governance of AI/automation platforms
  • Develop and maintain key AI performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Partner with product, operations, and client-facing teams
  • Champion AI adoption and literacy across the organization
  • Participate as a core leader within the technology and executive management teams

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience building and directing AI, automation, data science, or engineering teams within healthcare services
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in distributed, multi-location or offshore-enabled models
  • Previous experience in a private equity–backed organization or fast-paced environment
  • Forward-looking strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate emerging technology needs
  • Hands-on ownership of core AI/automation functions including model development
  • Prior experience assessing technology infrastructure with scalable systems
  • Ability to build strong relationships across technical, operational, and executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success implementing analytics, automation, KPIs, and monitoring systems
  • Experience navigating compliance, security, and audit requirements within a healthcare environment
  • Strong understanding of data governance and technology planning
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • High-energy, entrepreneurial leader with a hands-on approach.
