About the role
- overseeing and managing the billing operations of EMHM business unit
- ensuring that billing processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with all regulatory requirements
- managing correspondence related to account inquiries
- driving strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing process improvements
- managing and mentoring a team of billing specialists
- ensuring that all billing practices adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
- fostering internal relationships throughout the organization to promote teamwork
- overseeing the preparation, distribution, and tracking of accurate invoices for all services provided
- ensuring timely and accurate billing in accordance with contracts, terms, and customer agreements
- implementing and enforcing best practices in billing processes to ensure minimal errors and delays
- monitoring and maintaining compliance with all relevant billing, payment, and communication regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, customer service, or related roles
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position with responsibility for managing teams and cross-functional projects
- Ability to read, understand, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies
- Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner
- Basic use of computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner
- Basic touch 10 key skills
- Basic Math skills
- Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables), and database software skills
