Full-stack Engineer

• Help plan the platform's architectural direction across billing, practice management and clinical workflows.
• Drive architecture and system design discussions.
• Write ADRs and run design reviews.
• Refactor legacy PHP/Laravel, MySQL and frontend code.
• Sequence the work so we keep shipping while we improve.
• Define service boundaries, data ownership, API contracts and frontend architecture.
• Build features end to end, from database schema to UI, including UX, accessibility and performance.
• Partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines.
• Set up and improve build, test and deploy flows.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through pairing, code review and design feedback.
• Build AI features and LLM-assisted workflows into the product where they add value.
• Lead during incidents and write the postmortems. Turn lessons into systemic fixes.

• Payment allocation and account reconciliation

• Responsible for answering Payment Line calls - processing card payments and issuing receipts and resolving patient queries

• Entering and generating claim forms and invoices based on procedure information provided by our clients
• Efficient processing of various documents provided by different entities in order to generate invoices/claims in line with the company’s SLA's
• Handling insurer/hospital returns and corrections
• Responding to hospital & client queries via phone/email
• Following up on unpaid invoices/claims with hospitals/insurers/patients accordingly to the status of the claim, identifying key trends to help resolve issues as they arise
• Ensuring the quality of claims meets all standards given by insurance companies, clients, and hospitals - following all rules for certain clients/hospitals during the process in order to achieve maximum reimbursement and a high level of client satisfaction
• Answering internal & external phone calls from other Medserv employees, clients, hospital staff, and insurer staff - maintaining a high level of professionalism, and providing precise and accurate information
• Responding to daily queries via email (Ticketing System) from both internal and external personnel within the required time frame, taking on additional email tasks required depending on the daily volume of team emails
• Establishing and maintaining good client and hospital relationships at all levels
