About the role

  • Providing Production Support for existing clients, including analyzing bugs/defects, performing root cause analysis, working on new enhancements, and supporting training and documentation of new features for new releases.
  • Using Process Analysis techniques, including conducting As-Is process analysis, To-Be Process Analysis, creating Business Process models, defining Business Rules, and facilitating Process Walkthroughs.
  • Performing Problem Solving, which involves conducting Data Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Testing.
  • Gathering client-specific business requirements and translating them effectively to the developers.
  • Recommending requirement changes or improvements based on analysis.
  • Participating in working sessions to assess the production readiness of applications and/or requirements.
  • Writing detailed business functional requirements documents.
  • Creating Test Cases and Test Data for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performing both back-end and front-end validations as part of the testing process.
  • Performing other assigned duties as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent or relevant work experience.
  • Apply knowledge of the software engineering life cycle for development and implement effective information systems.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business and business skills to analyze requirements and propose practical solutions.
  • Employ a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, utilizing structured methodologies and frameworks.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in analysis, documentation, and testing.
  • Prioritize experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, showcasing successful project delivery and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Apply industry-specific expertise in Healthcare, Workers' Compensation, or Insurance, leveraging knowledge of processes and regulations.
  • Utilize SQL for data analysis, proficiently querying databases and generating insights to support business analysis
