About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform material handling duties including operating equipment for product receiving, disbursement, inventory checks, and inventory management functions
  • Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks
  • Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated, and replenished daily
  • Stock and inventory product on carts or within assigned areas
  • Check for compromised products and expired inventory
  • Receive inbound materials and mark materials with identifying information
  • Record amount of material received and sort materials
  • Quality control, moving carts to and from loading docks
  • Assist with customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Housekeeping duties including all forms of onsite cleanup

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1 to 3 months of related work or training
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English
  • Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction)
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship-building skills
  • High sense of urgency
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Preferred: High school diploma
  • At least 1 year experience working in a hospital environment
