About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform material handling duties including operating equipment for product receiving, disbursement, inventory checks, and inventory management functions
Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks
Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated, and replenished daily
Stock and inventory product on carts or within assigned areas
Check for compromised products and expired inventory
Receive inbound materials and mark materials with identifying information
Record amount of material received and sort materials
Quality control, moving carts to and from loading docks
Assist with customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service
Housekeeping duties including all forms of onsite cleanup

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 to 3 months of related work or training
Must be able to read and communicate in English
Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction)
Strong interpersonal/relationship-building skills
High sense of urgency
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
Preferred: High school diploma
At least 1 year experience working in a hospital environment
