Perform intermediate-level data research and financial analysis to support business objectives
Plan and prepare business, financial, and data analyses and present findings to managers or project leaders
Develop recommendations to address business problems and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Participate in the proposal pricing process including development of pricing strategies, analyzing and compiling cost data, preparing price submissions
Work directly with internal teams (Sales, Inventory Management, Finance) to provide intermediate level analysis and reporting
Monitor for data accuracy, timeliness and integrity in data used in analysis and reporting and communicate inaccuracies
Ensure follow-up so that analysis and reporting outcomes are reviewed and implemented
Take ownership of internship projects and participate in Medline internship activities and development opportunities
Requirements
Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, or related
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using basic functions, inserting charts, Pivot Tables, nested formulas)
Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
