About the role

  • An MDM Developer Intern at Medline will work on initiatives that require configuring and managing our Master Data Management Applications like Product360, and Customer360.
  • These initiatives are focused on improving quality and process efficiency.
  • The Intern will partner with business sponsors, analysts, developers, and management to lead the project to success.
  • Job Description Examples of possible projects include: Exploring and profiling data in multiple systems.
  • Capturing lineage of data between multiple systems.
  • Building data models for domains such as Product and Customer including cross domain relationships
  • Analyzing data quality and developing dashboards for monitoring data quality metrics
  • Developing process maps for existing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvements
  • Analyzing data transfer issues and suggesting possible solutions to fix them

Requirements

  • Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, computer engineering, or similar
  • Strong understanding in modeling structures and unstructured data, and data structures such as Relational, XML, JSON, Parquet, etc. is a plus
  • Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, data analysis and follow-up skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Java is a plus
  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
