About the role

  • Support the sales team in achieving overall revenue targets.
  • Train customers on the use and clinical application of the products.
  • Conduct product trainings for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform product demonstrations and provide clinical support during product trials.
  • Analyze the competitive environment and industry trends.
  • Collect first-hand customer feedback on products and use this information to drive improvements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the political and clinical environment to anticipate factors that influence customers' purchasing decisions.
  • Support product managers in product development to respond to customer and market requirements.
  • Assist in root cause analysis of customer complaints.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the operating room.
  • Represent Medline in clinics and other healthcare facilities.
  • Participate in events (internal and external).

Requirements

  • Completed training as an Operating Room Specialist (HF).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the operating room.
  • Technical knowledge of medical products for hospital use.
  • Solid knowledge of the medical industry, including terminology, procurement dynamics of (public) hospitals, technology, regulatory requirements, etc.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills; ability to articulate ideas and support them with sound arguments.
  • Ability to build strong relationships within the clinical environment.
  • Strong sense of responsibility.
  • Critical thinking and openness to continuous improvement.
  • High degree of independence and self-motivation.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, changing and demanding environment.
  • Fluent in English and the local language(s).
  • Willingness to travel to hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities.
  • Driver's license.
