About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs and policies.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual compensation review cycle (merit, bonuses, salary adjustments).
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain job descriptions as well as classification structures.
  • Perform market analyses and salary surveys to ensure the competitiveness of compensation practices.
  • Provide compensation analyses and recommendations to support hiring and internal equity.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to compensation.
  • Administer, maintain and optimize the HRIS to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for HRIS functionality, reporting and troubleshooting.
  • Support the implementation and harmonization of a new global system.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports and analyses to support decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits and data governance practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in compensation, HRIS or in a combined HR analytics / total rewards role.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, job evaluation methodologies and market analyses.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors) and HR data management.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and HR reporting tools.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing HRIS systems is an asset.
  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable recommendations and insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Knowledge of employment law and compensation regulations is an asset.
  • CHRL/CRHA, CCP or other HR/compensation certifications (or in progress) considered an asset.
  • Communication skills in French and English.
