Account Executive, Account Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain existing accounts and build relationships
- Achieve monthly sales targets and monitor profit margins
- Analyze territory trends and identify opportunities
- Regularly manage and grow business volume with pharmacists
- Follow up on sales and product availability with customers by phone or email (incoming and outgoing calls)
- Assist customers with inquiries
- Propose new revenue streams and product offerings
- Ensure customer data and call records remain relevant and up to date in systems
- Process orders and track their status
- Run sales campaigns (products/services/lead products) to existing and new customers
- Generate sales from inactive and new customers
- Make cold calls to potential customers and assess opportunities to do business with them
- Research new options for potential customers and follow up on referrals from existing customers
- Open new accounts and assist with onboarding
- Collaborate with business development managers
- Discuss existing accounts with business development managers and develop strategies to grow business
- Optimize the planning cycle for business development managers to maximize synergies and touchpoints with accounts
- Provide leads and referrals for customer visits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum college diploma; university degree and scientific background preferred
- More than 2 years of experience in sales or customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) required
- Excellent communication skills required: bilingual in French and English
- English communication required, as this role involves daily communications with customers across Canada
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment and manage stress effectively
