About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the transition of new business into MedImpact effectively, accurately, and timely
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction during implementation by collaborating with client teams, more than 30 business units, customers, and consultants
- Deliver successful implementation projects and establish the foundation for ongoing business relationships and additional revenue
- Ensure project deliverables comply with client service agreements and service levels
- Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and status updates
- Lead implementation documentation, reviews, customer sign-off, site visits, and conference calls
- Facilitate conflict management and resolution with internal and external partners
- Educate clients on MedImpact systems and processes
- Use Salesforce to document client contacts, deliverables, issues, projects, work requests, cases, and due dates
- Manage projects and client relationships in compliance with executed contracts
- Partner with business units to ensure claims adjudication setup accuracy
- Analyze claims results and resolve configuration discrepancies, inaccuracies, anomalies, and unexpected consequences
- Ensure timely, high-quality claims adjudication deliverables and appropriate customer coverage
- Respond to service failures, resolve issues, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Promote continuous improvement and service excellence
- Participate in professional development and special projects, including workgroups, system functionality projects, and mentoring or training staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- Level I: Two years of customer support or related account management experience in a healthcare or Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) environment
- Level II: Four years of customer support or related account management experience in a healthcare or PBM environment, including at least two years of implementation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level III: Four years of customer support or related account management experience in a healthcare or PBM environment, including at least three years of implementation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience as a user of multiple business software applications
- Previous system implementation experience is highly desirable
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Visio
- Must complete MedImpact internal certifications within one year of role acceptance, including MedAccess Certification and Service Excellence Certification
- MedAccess certification or equivalent experience, Service Excellence Certification, and Project Management 101 certification or equivalent training within one year of job acceptance
- PMP or PMI Certification desired
- Exceptional consultative ability with clients face to face
- Outstanding numeric, verbal, written, logic, and analytical skills
- Must be knowledgeable of all state and government regulations related to PBM operations
- Must be able to travel a minimum of 10% of the time
- Pharmacy Technician license or national certification desired
