About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Mentor and manage a team of contract managers, guiding them through complex negotiations
- Lead and support contract negotiations with providers to secure favorable terms
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, monitoring, and renewal/termination
- Ensure all contracts comply with federal, state, and industry standards
- Analyze contract performance, monitor financial metrics, and recommend improvements
- Foster and maintain strategic relationships with provider partners
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and templates for contracting
- Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate implementation of contract terms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, finance, economics, or equivalent experience in related field
- 5 years of related experience beyond degree as a people leader in contract negotiations and healthcare
