About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handling day-to-day bookkeeping
  • Coding, reviewing and posting incoming invoices
  • Processing electronic bank statements
  • Processing travel expenses and credit card statements
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • Management of recurring postings and accruals/deferrals
  • General account reconciliation
  • Assistance in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed training as a bookkeeper or tax clerk
  • Experience in financial accounting / accounting
  • Independent, dedicated and detail-oriented working style
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially EXCEL
  • Knowledge of modern ERP systems, preferably SAP B1
  • Good German and English language skills
