About the role
- Design and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for web applications and API integrations
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing, including UAT
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Playwright, XRay & REST Assured
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Validate third-party integrations and APIs using tools such as Postman
- Log and track defects in Jira, provide actionable feedback, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos, advocating for testing best practices throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
- 3+ years of testing experience across web applications and APIs
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, REST Assured, and API testing tools like Postman
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber JVM preferred) and CI/CD integration
- Proven experience working in Agile environments, using Jira and Confluence for project and test management
- Ability to work closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
