About the role

  • Supports pitches and discovery projects by providing technical advice on architecture, technologies and solutions
  • Takes on requirement engineering for discovery and new client projects
  • Assesses project scope, develops solution approaches and prepares cost estimates
  • Supports project teams with technical concepts and reviews
  • Explains complex issues clearly in workshops
  • Presents core products and solutions in demos, at events and trade shows
  • Regularly exchanges experience with the consulting and development teams

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical consultant, technical project manager or solution architect
  • Very good knowledge of shop systems (such as Shopware, Adobe Commerce, Spryker, Commercetools or Shopify)
  • Deep understanding of the e‑commerce market and the relevant platforms
  • Strong consulting and architecture skills
  • Knowledge of PHP or similar technologies is an advantage
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Ideally experience in consulting, at service providers or in large agencies
