About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with analyzing suspicious websites, ad tags, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Support investigations into malicious redirects, cloaking, scam campaigns, ad fraud, e-skimming, and other web-based threats
  • Help identify tactics, techniques, and procedures used in malicious campaigns
  • Review scan results, HAR files, screenshots, and other evidence related to malware detections
  • Assist in documenting findings and preparing internal investigation notes
  • Help create reports summarizing malicious behavior, indicators, and campaign characteristics
  • Research domains, URLs, IPs, scripts, and other indicators related to suspicious activity
  • Work with analysts to improve malware detection, signatures, and investigation workflows
  • Learn how programmatic advertising, third-party code, and digital supply chains can be abused by threat actors
  • Communicate findings clearly to internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Information Systems, or a related IT field
  • Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, malware, phishing, web threats, or threat intelligence
  • Interest in static and dynamic analysis of suspicious code or web activity
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C, C++, or Ruby
  • Ability to research technical topics and document findings clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and curiosity about how attacks work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a remote team
  • Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and security concepts
