About the role
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and threats
- Analyze competitive landscape and track competitor strategies, positioning, and market movements
- Screen and evaluate potential acquisition targets, providing strategic recommendations
- Analyze financial statements and P&L reports to assess business performance and viability
- Develop market forecasts and build business cases to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare compelling presentations for C-suite executives on market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and acquisition opportunities
- Translate complex data and research findings into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Sociology
- 2+ years of experience in market research, business analysis, competitive intelligence, or related fields
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
- Financial literacy, including the ability to read and interpret P&L statements and financial reports
- Experience building forecasts and business cases is a strong advantage
- Excellent presentation skills with experience creating executive-level reports and presentations
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for uncovering market insights
