About the role
- Take ownership of test planning for releases — from defining scope to keeping documentation up to date.
- Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright across our frontend and backend systems.
- Test and validate our cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), making sure everything runs reliably in production.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure smooth and high-quality releases.
- Investigate bugs, identify root causes, and help improve overall product stability.
- Track and improve quality over time by looking at metrics like bugs per release or test coverage.
- Continuously challenge and improve how we approach testing as a team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong experience with test automation (ideally Playwright).
- Solid programming skills (Python and/or TypeScript).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. pytest or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Docker.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of test planning.
- Nice to have
- Experience with AWS or cloud-based systems.
- Exposure to medical software or regulated environments (FDA, CE).
- Experience with performance or load testing.
- Basic understanding of security testing.
