About the role

  • Ensure the administrative, accounting and financial management of the organization.
  • Verify, record and monitor supplier and customer invoices.
  • Monitor payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Record and verify travel expenses and expense reports.
  • Manage calls and process membership fee payments.
  • Reconcile accounting software records with membership accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow.
  • Track and update lease and maintenance contracts.
  • Produce financial reports and ensure budgetary control.
  • Prepare and transmit variable payroll items to the accounting firm.

Requirements

  • Education in accounting/management (minimum: two-year post-secondary diploma preferred).
  • Proven experience in accounting and administration (ideally in an SME or association/non-profit).
  • Proficient with office software (Excel, Word) and accounting/payroll software.
  • Meticulous, reliable and well organized.
  • Discreet and respectful of confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
