About the role
- Implement the strategy and develop clinical product(s)
- Keep the product competitive by understanding market problems and executing product roadmap
- Collaborate with leadership regarding product strategy and execution
- Manage complex clinical product initiatives including clinical criteria
- Analyze market information and member claims data to support initiatives
- Coordinate and launch new products and enhancements
- Represent Clinical department as a strategic partner during customer requirement sessions
- Responsible for regulatory oversight and external representation
- Validate accuracy of clinical product information and oversee user acceptance testing
- Establish cross-functional partnerships to drive informed decisions and successful execution
- Collaborate with client partners as needed
- Follow security policies and HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy Degree
- Current pharmacist license in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy
- 10 years of relevant work experience in retail, hospital or managed care
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical and/or managed care setting
- Experience with payer organizations or pharmacy benefit managers is highly desirable
- Experience with healthcare data analytics tools (SAS, SQL, Tableau)
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy systems
- Knowledge of Pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma)
- Proven experience working in a regulated environment
- Exceptional relationship and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
