About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide first aid care and treatment by triaging employees after workplace injuries according to Medcor Care Protocols
Support employee wellness, education, and teaching
Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
Provide customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses
Build and maintain internal team relationships
Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
Collaborate with client health, safety, and environmental professionals
Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools
Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
Manage cases and OSHA record-keeping
Order supplies and follow compliance processes
Perform general administrative duties
Work independently with support from the operations manager and other Medcor staff remotely
Work collaboratively with offsite medical providers, urgent care facilities, and hospitals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Valid licensure for the position applied for
Current CPR/BLS certification
Ability to work independently
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong computer and technology skills, including navigating cell phones, texting, and fax machines
Familiarity with EMR software
Ability to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive and outgoing personality
Willingness to go above and beyond
Passion for providing excellent patient care
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:00pm
Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment is a plus
Relevant occupational health experience is a plus
Emergency medicine or critical care experience is a plus
