About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide first aid care and treatment by triaging employees after workplace injuries according to Medcor Care Protocols
  • Support employee wellness, education, and teaching
  • Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
  • Provide customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships
  • Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • Collaborate with client health, safety, and environmental professionals
  • Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
  • Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools
  • Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
  • Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
  • Manage cases and OSHA record-keeping
  • Order supplies and follow compliance processes
  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Work independently with support from the operations manager and other Medcor staff remotely
  • Work collaboratively with offsite medical providers, urgent care facilities, and hospitals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Valid licensure for the position applied for
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including navigating cell phones, texting, and fax machines
  • Familiarity with EMR software
  • Ability to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Willingness to go above and beyond
  • Passion for providing excellent patient care
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:00pm
  • Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment is a plus
  • Relevant occupational health experience is a plus
  • Emergency medicine or critical care experience is a plus
