About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • managing numerous occupational health clinics on construction sites in the Mountain, West and Pacific regions
  • responsible for managing local and corporate client relationships
  • managing local and corporate client relationships including: developing a professional and personal relationship that engenders trust and respect, promoting Medcor, Inc.’s ethics and values
  • supervision and leadership within a team environment of all full-time, part-time and contract clinic staff at multiple clinic sites
  • monitoring budgets and partnering with leadership to control expenses effectively
  • supporting the protocol-based mission of the clinics and contributing to the overall strategy of the Division and clients
  • significant travel required (up to 75%) across the United States
  • responsible for budget management at assigned clinics, including: maximizing revenue generation; controlling expenses; maximizing cash flow and volume; managing site budget setting process
  • accountable for assuring standard operating procedures are in place and utilized in clinics
  • developing relationships with client executives, supervising physicians and other local health care providers as needed
  • work effectively and relate well with others including supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-4 years of practical experience in a health care environment or employee health services with management/supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
  • working knowledge of workers compensation and occupational health and wellness
  • ability to understand, question and speak to variances associated with budgets and monthly financials
  • availability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
  • ability to multi-task, be prepared, prioritize, follow-through, pay attention to details and think critically daily
  • ability to quickly establish credibility and respect with associates and client management
  • solid operational skills; ability to recognize workflow problems and redesign new processes/workflow
  • strong personal computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office products
  • strong ethics and unwavering integrity
  • an EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, or RN license
