About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze benefit package requirements
- Provide feedback to stakeholders regarding feasibility and requirements for benefit configuration
- Enter benefit data on claims processing systems according to approved benefit structure
- Set up new policies and revise existing policies, on applicable administrative systems
- Perform all activities related to the onboarding of new groups, while working with multiple teams
- Analyze & respond to inquiries from members, internal/external stakeholders including brokers
- Maintain and update workflow/tools with appropriate documentation
- Adhere to and interpret business processes in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, computer science, or related field
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in group benefits would be considered a strong asset
- Successful in previous roles as Business Analyst or Data Analyst, Data management, Query writing and optimization
- Experience with Discoverer, SQL, data analysis, PowerBI
- Problem-solving skills; understanding of client needs
- Detail-oriented with the big picture in mind
- Good communicator – clear, concise, and friendly with diverse audiences
- Customer-oriented, innovative, collaborative, open to new ways
