About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze benefit package requirements
Provide feedback to stakeholders regarding feasibility and requirements for benefit configuration
Enter benefit data on claims processing systems according to approved benefit structure
Set up new policies and revise existing policies, on applicable administrative systems
Perform all activities related to the onboarding of new groups, while working with multiple teams
Analyze & respond to inquiries from members, internal/external stakeholders including brokers
Maintain and update workflow/tools with appropriate documentation
Adhere to and interpret business processes in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, computer science, or related field
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience
Experience in group benefits would be considered a strong asset
Successful in previous roles as Business Analyst or Data Analyst, Data management, Query writing and optimization
Experience with Discoverer, SQL, data analysis, PowerBI
Problem-solving skills; understanding of client needs
Detail-oriented with the big picture in mind
Good communicator – clear, concise, and friendly with diverse audiences
Customer-oriented, innovative, collaborative, open to new ways
