About the role
- Lead the development and execution of our wellness product strategy across Group and Individual markets
- Oversee the lifecycle of key products including EFAP, InConfidence, Second Medical Opinion services, and digital health solutions
- Define the strategic and operational direction for digital product channels
- Assess customer needs and develop innovative solutions that strengthen Medavie’s competitive position
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product specialists responsible for end-to-end product performance
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with external vendors and digital service providers
- Ensure cost‑effective, high-quality delivery of products and services
Requirements
- University degree in healthcare, business, or related field
- 7–10 years of product or marketing experience, ideally within Life/Group Insurance
- 5+ years of management experience with a proven ability to lead and develop people
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or financial services is preferred
- Strong digital product expertise and understanding of wellness solutions
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and influence cross-functional teams
- Vendor management and partnership development experience
- Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset
