About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Champion and enhance the employee experience across the Bank
  • Partner with leaders and employees to foster a positive and engaging workplace culture aligned with the Bank's values and strategic objectives
  • Develop, coordinate, and administer employee engagement, recognition, communication, retention, and culture programs
  • Gather employee feedback, analyze engagement trends and survey results, and partner with leadership on improvement strategies
  • Administer employee recognition and appreciation programs, including anniversaries, milestones, life events, gifts, celebrations, and achievements
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee events and culture-building activities, including company celebrations, all-employee meetings, volunteer opportunities, and wellness activities
  • Manage event logistics, budgets, vendor relationships, communications, and execution
  • Develop and manage employee communications, including newsletters, leadership communications, surveys, and engagement campaigns
  • Assist with manager training sessions focused on engagement, communication, recognition, and team effectiveness
  • Maintain records and spending details; prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations
  • Coordinate CRA volunteer and community outreach activities, including participation tracking, records, partnerships, and employee involvement
  • Perform other duties and special or operational projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience creating employee communications, presentations, and engagement materials
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to employee and business needs
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally and discreetly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to create graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in Human Resources, employee engagement, internal communications, event planning, employee experience, organizational development, or related field preferred
  • Experience supporting culture, engagement, employee recognition, communications, or organizational initiatives strongly preferred
  • Must pass a background check and maintain a clean background
  • Minimum three days per week in the office
  • Attendance at company events is required
  • Ability to lift, carry, set up, and transport event supplies, gifts, promotional materials, and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours for special events or organizational needs
  • Willingness to work additional in-office days as needed
