About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and execute Medallion Bank’s content marketing strategy aligned with brand standards, business objectives, and the full customer journey.
- Plan, create, and manage high-quality written and multimedia content including website copy, blogs, email campaigns, newsletters, video scripts, and educational assets.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compliant educational content related to lending products, home improvement financing, and recreational lending.
- Optimize content for organic search, AI discovery, engagement, and conversion performance.
- Develop and maintain brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines to ensure consistency across all owned and earned channels.
- Serve as primary owner of the corporate website and HubSpot landing pages, overseeing content updates, UX/UI consistency, performance optimization, and regulatory disclosures.
- Develop and manage branded marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, direct mail, trade show materials, and presentations.
- Oversee end-to-end video and multimedia production including briefing, scripting, production coordination, editing, and distribution.
- Monitor brand sentiment and online reputation across social media, review platforms, and digital channels, escalating and responding as appropriate.
- Support public relations efforts including press releases, announcements, and coordination with industry media partners.
- Leverage analytics and reporting to inform content optimization, editorial planning, and ongoing improvements.
- Manage external vendors and agencies including design, video production, and web development partners.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Compliance teams. Support campaign launches, events, product initiatives, and seasonal promotional strategies. Demonstrate flexibility and ownership in supporting priorities that further the success of the bank.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 - 3+ years of experience in content marketing, graphic design, and/or editorial roles, specifically in banking, financial services, fintech, or related industries.
- Experience creating and optimizing landing pages and digital assets for paid and owned digital campaigns, including planning and executing A/B tests to improve engagement and conversion performance.
- Experience overseeing graphic and video design production, with the ability to personally create or edit assets using Adobe Creative Cloud and emerging AI‑based creative tools as needed.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
- Experience creating content within regulated or highly compliant industries preferred.
