About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the multi-year product strategy & roadmap across partner channels.
- Assess and lead new loan product development and enhancement.
- Build rate/fee/promotional constructs and risk-based pricing.
- Partner with Credit/Risk & Data Science on underwriting policy and decisioning.
- Lead end-to-end borrower and partner experiences across online and offline journeys.
- Scale POS enablement for home improvement contractors and recreation dealers.
- Institutionalize competitive intelligence (rates, terms, SLAs, merchant incentives, UX patterns).
- Embed Legal/Compliance and Audit throughout the lifecycle to ensure controls for Reg Z/E, UDAAP, FCRA, ECOA, privacy, and FFIEC expectations.
- Build and lead a high-performing product organization.
- Drive cross-functional execution with various departments.
- Represent Product in and with key channel partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in financial services product management with 5+ years leading consumer lending products at a bank/fintech/credit union.
- Proven P&L ownership and scaled delivery.
- Demonstrated cooperative leadership of pricing and portfolio performance.
- Hands-on leadership of digital UX and assisted/partner experiences.
- Strong experimentation (A/B, incrementality) and analytics skills.
- Fluency partnering with Credit/Risk and Data Science on underwriting, policy, and decisioning platforms.
- Familiarity with fraud/identity controls.
- Regulatory fluency and experience embedding compliance by design (Reg Z/E, UDAAP, FCRA, ECOA; FDIC/State expectations).
- Executive-level communication and influence across Sales, Tech, Finance, and the C-suite.
- Ability to recruit, coach, and scale teams.
