About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing application engineering and QA teams across onshore and offshore models, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
  • Define and execute the application engineering strategy aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture
  • Own the full lifecycle of applications built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Azure, balancing feature delivery, scalability, platform stability, and technical debt reduction
  • Drive agile program execution across multiple teams using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid frameworks, ensuring predictable and high-quality releases
  • Provide technical leadership across architecture, integration, APIs, reporting solutions, and DevOps/CI/CD practices
  • Ensure application platforms are AI-ready and aligned with Microsoft’s AI and Copilot strategy in partnership with Architecture, Data, and Security teams
  • Establish engineering standards, delivery governance, and performance metrics while communicating status, risks, and dependencies clearly to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development and application engineering, with at least 5+ years leading development teams
  • Proven expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise application reporting solutions
  • Experience managing distributed and offshore teams while maintaining high engagement and performance standards
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD practices within cloud-based environments
  • Familiarity with Azure data concepts, data visualization, and integration best practices; experience with SQL Server and legacy platforms is a plus
  • A strategic, player-coach leadership style that balances technical depth with team development and execution excellence
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications such as PMP or CSM preferred)
