About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own delivery of Hip & Knee revenue, market share and performance within the state.
  • Develop and execute state-level Hip & Knee plans aligned to national strategy and portfolio priorities.
  • Manage forecasting, pipeline discipline and performance tracking across the team.
  • Identify growth opportunities and performance gaps and implement targeted action plans.
  • Lead and manage Territory Managers, Associate Territory Managers and Account Managers within the Hip & Knee portfolio.
  • Set clear expectations, KPIs and development plans for direct reports.
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability, execution and customer outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key surgeons, hospital stakeholders and accounts relevant to the Hip & Knee portfolio.
  • Support development and execution of surgeon engagement strategies within the state.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to support product launches, campaigns and surgeon adoption.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, health sciences or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in orthopaedics, medical devices or a comparable healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent commercial results through structured planning and disciplined execution.
  • Proven leadership capability, with experience building and managing high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with surgeons, hospitals and internal teams.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver aligned commercial outcomes.
  • Sound understanding of the orthopaedic market, hospital environment and key commercial drivers within Hip & Knee.
  • Experience developing team capability through coaching, performance management and clear expectation setting.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and accountability in line with organisational values.
