Sales Director

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take ownership of a high-growth hip & knee orthopaedics portfolio, leading state performance, developing teams and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
- Own and deliver the state commercial plan, translating national strategy into clear local priorities
- Identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps across territories and key accounts
- Lead, coach and develop sales managers and field teams to drive consistent results
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key orthopaedic surgeons and hospital stakeholders
- Drive forecasting, pipeline discipline and performance management across the state.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years experience in medical device sales, ideally within orthopaedics
- Proven track record leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue, margin and growth targets
- Credible and confident engaging with orthopaedic surgeons and hospital stakeholders
- Structured and disciplined approach to planning, forecasting and performance management.
